Octopus House Residencies

During the year, as well as the annual Rock Retreat for writers and illustrators, we host short artist residencies at Octopus House in Gibraltar.

Since October 2023 the Octopus House has hosted artists and writers immersing themselves in life on the Rock and deepening their experience of Gibraltar. The self directed residencies give visiting artists the opportunity to live in the historic Upper Town area and discover the complex layers that make Gibraltar and its people.

Below are the artists and writers who have taken residency at the Octopus House to date.

For more information keep an eye out on this page or get in touch with us to apply to spend a week at Octopus House.
